AED Presentation

Nancy Martindell and Kristin Crager, CDR, CTR, CMVR from JMA Resources presented Bermudian Springs Middle School with a CPR Kit, including an AED, from the American Heart Association this morning. We support the school district in their ongoing learning and advocacy of basic life support skills to their staff and students.

Did you know…
❤️Children over age 8 can be treated with a standard AED.
❤️9 in 10 cardiac arrest victims who receive a shock from an AED in the first minute live.
❤️More than 15% of Out of Hospital Cardiac Arrests occur in a public location; therefore, public access AEDs and community training have a large role to play in early defibrillation.

I have been working at JMA for about 17 months. I am a Junior Software Developer in the commercial department, specializing in frontend development and aspiring to become a Full Stack Developer.

The culture at JMA is best described as caring and engaging. Everyone is like family and very helpful at any given moment, and management is willing to hear new ideas.

𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒊𝒔 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒇𝒂𝒗𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒆 𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒕 𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑱𝑴𝑨 𝑹𝒆𝒔𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒄𝒆𝒔?
My favorite part of working for JMA is the ability to work remotely. It provides a great work-life balance, and with the continued education program, it’s a great place to grow one’s technical skills for the future of JMA Resources.

Over the next year, I’m looking to gain more knowledge about this industry, participate in all the great JMA events to come, and continue growing with the company.

If you had to eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

I am a big steak fan, but If I could only eat one meal for the rest of my life I would choose chicken quesadillas with guacamole and salsa!

What superpower would you choose and why?

Flight! The ability to fly around the world would be incredible. I could go anywhere I wanted in over half the time it would take the average person to travel. I would definitely be soaring high in the sky all day every day!

What are you looking forward to most for JMA Resources over the next year?

To successfully attain the CMMC certification for JMA.

What three books would you take with you if you were stuck on a desert island?

If I’m stuck, then for sure, one book that I’ll take with me for my spiritual guidance would be Quran. I would also take a book on the life of the prophet Mohammad to learn internal strength and patience from him, and finally, I’ll have a book on history so I can learn from mistakes that others have made that I can hopefully avoid.

If you had to eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Dr. McDougall (drmcdougall.com/) got me hooked on Potatoes, and now I can eat Potatoes day and night.

What superpower would you choose and why?

Help as many people as I can around me to get what they want in life because God has been very kind to me, and I owe so many thanks to people who have helped me be where I’m today.

What are you looking forward to most for JMA Resources over the next year?

We have many exciting things happening at JMA. Thanks to the hard work that our team members put in every day, we have doubled our workforce this year and plan to do the same for the next two to three years. With Nancy, I’m excited to lead our new European business, HQ in Heidelberg, Germany, in Q1, 2023, where we will work with our EU allies, NATO, and FMS partners to make this world a better and safer place for our kids. Our core mission has always been to help our warfighters, which keeps me and my team motivated to come to work every day.
